There's not a whole lot here that isn't obvious. JID's team is solid, coupled with a Dreamville signing that is netting him new fans worldwide. His live show at SITW in DC was a highlight of the weekend. The official music video for “Stick” is at a little over a million views on Youtube. With everyone on it pushing this song heavy at live shows, we'll see that number jump by the Fall. Beyond that, JID's a rapper that can rap his ass off. I'll go in early on that every time if I can.

As one of the few features on Brent Faiyaz's “Wasteland” album, JOONY is primed to take off. His last two music videos have both peaked out at 8k and 15k respectively. His laid back style feels like it's something that missing in music right now His recent Pretty in Black album is picking up steam. His collab with Lonewolf is sitting at 2 co-signs ready and waiting for your support.

Fana Hues

Pasadena, California has one with Fana. With the Pigeons & Planes bump, she's primed to go crazy this next year. She made it to the P&P album executive produced by Mike Dean. From here, she's been steadily rolling on her socials. Her flora + fana album dropped back in March, which has since gained momentum with “breakfast” now up to about 90k streams on Soundcloud.

Civ Pierre

Deep diving into Civ Pierre's work has been a blessing. We are all in on this guy. His latest track Neverland quickly hit two co-signs on Phlote and is the big “buy” of the week. His sound sits between Anderson Paak and Kendrick Lamar in a way that is wholly unique. Get in now or you'll be mainstream adopting very soon.
